The Liphook Equine Hospital is proud to be an approved member of the Royal
College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.
Of the 3 tiers, we have been accredited at the highest level - a tier 3 veterinary hospital. We have passed an inspection
carried out by the RCVS (UK vets' governing body) focusing
on a range of areas, including standards of care, hygiene, health and safety,
staff, clinical governance and the facilities we provide, to name
just few of the many criteria. The practice will be reinspected
every four years and we will be subject to spot-checks in
the meantime. The Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary
initiative – not all practices are part of it.
RCVS accreditation means that as a client you can rest assured
that our practice offers a high quality of care for your horse, pony, donkey or mule –
in those bits of the practice you can see – and those
that you can’t.
