The Liphook Equine Hospital established a new branch practice, Liphook Equine, on the Isle of Wight on 1st September 2007. The practice provides comprehensive equine services with experienced local equine vets resident 24 hours a day, 365 days-a-year. The clinic is based at Dodnor Farm, near Newport.

Liphook Equine is the first and longest standing veterinary practice offering a solely equine service on The Island. We are proud to provide a caring, professional service to all our clients and can offer you the best of both worlds, with an "on-the-road" service with fully mobile digital diagnostic equipment, and with the facilities at our Island based clinic at Dodnor which can offer more advanced techniques including many surgical procedures. We carry equipment for mobile digital x-ray examinations, endoscopy and ultrasonography, and are equipped for routine and remedial dentistry.
The practice is committed to providing 24 hour residential, comprehensive services to all horses, ponies and donkeys under our care.
The practice has, when needed, the wealth of knowledge and experience of five of Europe's leading specialists in surgery and medicine at The Liphook Equine Hospital to help treat the more difficult, or unusual cases. The diagnostic, medical and surgical facilities at the main Hospital in Liphook are available night and day should your horse need transfer for specific diagnosis, treatment or specialist care. Being within 30 miles of The Isle of Wight, we believe it to be an accessable and invaluable facility and benefit to the Island.
The Liphook Laboratory, also based at The Hospital in Liphook, are very happy to provide rapid turnaround on diagnostic samples taken form all our Island patients.

The facilities at Dodnor include advanced diagnostic equipment such as digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy, and remedial dental equipment (all mobile), as well as day patient facilities, stocks for various procedures including surgery, and a JMB recognised measuring pad.
