The lab provides rapid and reliable diagnostic analysis and interpretation of samples to aid diagnosis, both for our own vets and for practices throughout the country.This is a fully equipped laboratory, under the direction of veterinary surgeon Andy Durham, a RCVS Specialist and Diplomate in Equine Internal Medicine.
The laboratory provides comprehensive advice regarding sampling and reports on a wide range of results of haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, cytology and parasitology samples.
We offer an individually considered full interpretation of laboratory results by a colleague in practice with a broad clinical experience and post-graduate qualification in equine internal medicine. A faxed or emailed report is sent around lunchtime on the day of receipt of the sample (including Saturdays).
We are a nominated diagnostic laboratory for the detection of Contagious Equine Metritis (CEMO) under the HBLB scheme and appear on their list again for the 2011 season.
